The Playboy Vault

During this summer of 2020, I decided to take a summer course called Thematic Inquiry which focuses on making books. This assignment was titled ‘Text as Subject.’ We were to collect a large database of text from either one source or one singular type of text from multiple sources. I decided to get my text from the old to new Playboy covers. I found some of the titles on the covers humorous and used the same typeface corresponding with the typeface on the magazine covers. I titled this book ‘The Playboy Vault’ because it features old playmates and also some of the old titles on the covers.
